as far as albums go yeah i feel it's a flavor of the month. yes i get that it's a new release, but i just don't feel it has any staying power. been a fan of Kendrick's flow since he battled Chuck Hamilton. never did i say this album sucked. for me it's borderline good/great. i just feel like Drake does this whole lounge rap thing better. For me, Oneirology, is a far more interesting album overall, better beats, flos and lyrics

Ya I gotchu man. I'm a beatwhore first and the beats here have that mellow lounge vibe for the most part I feel. Obvi KL stated he was doing this album for himself so he chose the the more introspective route which would probly not mesh well with faster hard hitting beats. I get it.
