pretty sure Bert was like 19 or 20 when this came out, think he did well to make sure the lines came across sincere at least, but naturally on paper some of them are a little iffy. Compared to their peers' debuts this is really, really fucking good

idk i think the lyrics on this are pretty not good - i do still love it and i do think they come off genuine - there are some good songs lyrically for sure though
