I may need to relisten to this, but as I remember, Symbolic was my least favorite in terms of vocals. Also, the vocals on SoP

aren't bad, just different. It's between SoP and Leprosy for favorite Death vocal performance.

Ross Dolan's prob my fav dm vocalist cuz his vox come straight from the underworld but something I love about him that nobody else ever talks about is how easily decipherable his lyrics are as well. Vox are just evil as fuck but you can understand pretty clearly what he's saying usually anyways, supernatural shit or something

Agree 100% about Ross Dolan. My favorite DM vocalist is Craig Pillard though. Nothing sounds more diabolical than his vocals on the Mortal Throne of Nazarene.

i've never been huge on Demilich's vocalist either. sure it's impressive but i think it sounds kinda silly. Gimme guttural but decipheral rasps any day of snarls and burps. the only vocalist I truly love that employs that gurgleburp style is Lord Worm because he sounds legit menacing when he does it.
