An insanely good record, one of the best of the decade so far, and probably Meshuggah's best with Catch 33. "Swarm" is bound to became an all time classic, and don't ask me to go anywhere near the moshpit if they'll ever play it live! It's very difficult for me to stop listening to this record (yeah, is that good), and I must say I think people who don't dig it... well, they're entitled to their opinion of course, but still, what about stop listening to metal?

I concur with korman-Catch 33 is my other favorite of theirs. But I personally prefer "Behind the Sun" and "Demiurge" to all other tracks on this album. And I guess I was a bit over stating the hate that I mentioned before, I guess I was just kind of taken aback that people weren't as obsessed with this as I was, but I obviously should have expected that. Still, listened to this album atleast ten times now and I consider it to be one of the best metal albums I've heard. I usually try not to be too fanboyish when it comes to this stuff, but I can't help it with Koloss and other Meshuggah/Tool/Gojira.

Kinda rushed to rate and comment on this.

The record shows its true potential only after 4-5 listening sessions...

Might bump my rating in days to come.

I enjoy Bones so much more than the first time I heard it as a stand alone track, it rules here on the album

Try "obZen" after this and them go on to "Nothing", which is their best album imo

DEI and Nothing are almost tied for me, DEI is crushing for sure but Nothing will always be the album that made me love Meshuggah in the first place.
