We'll start a petition to make it the site motto.

But really the only reason I wrote that comment was to get on moaropeth. Just like everyone else.

Ahah, funny stuff. Well, sebjustseb shared a very well built opinion on the review nonetheless. And i

truly believe Vildhjarta are geniouses in the making. Just taking in account the writting process they

had for Omnislash, it becomes clear that they do know their stuff and have a very solid vision of what

they want in their sound. My two cents

This album takes the form of an eerie kiss given you by a ghost. A ghost that keeps coming after you,

because it misses you. The ghost of a person you have forsaken earlier in your life, and are still to

forget. Masstaden is that ghost. You have wronged her, and she never left her hope for you. Tell her

you haven't forgot her yet. She needs to know she was once loved. Lay that soul to rest, in peace.

I don't like djent, but this surprisingly rules- the only band I've heard that rips off meshuggah in an awesome way

They have the nastiest riffs I've ever heard. Meshuggah is good due to the fact they are consistent and are pioneers, but Vildhjarta is way heavier.

In the heavy department, Meshuggah doesn't even come close.

I wont go there. The thing that pisses me off is the fact that Meshuggah are the only flag carriers for math metal, and therefore people say every single math metal/djent wtv band these days is a Meshuggah rip off. So that makes Textures rip offs too? lulz

Only ignorant people make statements like that, and it's mostly on YouTube, go figure.

@Funeralopolis, exactly. Just like every death metal band from the new millennium is a Death, Slayer etc rip off. If we're going that way, everything is a rip off.

OH no, lots of people say it here too. Its a dumb thing to say but wtv. And Vildhjarta? These dudes

pretty much nailed something unprecedented. Just the mood itself in Masstaden.. Damn, this is heavy in

every fucking way. I can definitely see where that "dirty" feel comes from Dot
