I was this dude's number one fan like 6-7 years ago... I remember buying Tha Carter the day it came out and playing it non-stop all summer.
I haven't heard anything he's done since, besides listened to Tha Carter III in my friend's car once or twice. Don't care to change that either

This really is not all that bad. In fact, I'm liking it more the second spin through. I think all the negative comments on this message board may have had the opposite affect of hype: I'm astonished that so many people could think this album is worthy of a 1 rating. I certainly understand disliking this album, but I'd say 2 is a reasonable vote for a dislike. 1's, whether we admit it or not, are almost always reserved for albums whose artists' we personally dislike. Ah, well. Fuck it.

I had to listen to this album because people were playing it at my college. There were honestly some moments that weren't as bad as I expected. But it isn't anything I would listen to by choice.
