Tbh, although I thought the review was really well written, I could not disagree more with the recommended tracks. Built to Fall and A Grey So Dark are absolutely awful tracks in my opinion, both completely botched attempts at making radio-friendly music. And the lyrics on Built to Fall are easily the worst on the album, I actually get angry at Matt Heafy for having written that crap.



My recommendations: In Waves, Inception of the End, Dusk Dismantled, Watch the World Burn, Black and A Skyline Severence. In other words, the first half of the album. The drop in quality from the minute Built to Fall starts and all the way to the end of the album is startling.



Ha, just realised that my tracklist is completely different, since I have the deluxe edition or whatever they called it which has a few extra tracks. None of the extra tracks are anything special either.

As Trivium stands, Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy very enjoyable when i was younger (i actually consider them my gateway albums) but my initial assertion of In Waves remains, it is quite terrible.
