Holy shit, I just re-watched that 1 minute promo video they did for this album, the one with the chick in the mask on the album cover walking around the woods staring at you. I forgot how fucking creepy that vid is. Gonna freak my friends out with it on Halloween lol.

the Ornament-Thought of Losing You-Kalathat stretch of the album is legitimately great.
I never had a problem with his lyrics before, but they're so obnoxious here. 'Somebody Is Laughing' bugs me to no end.
yeah. lyrically, that track is like something that could've been on Pariah if that album was written by a 5th grader. easily some of the worst lyrics on the album/of dredg's career.

honestly i think the vocals are what make this bad. gavins really not a pop singer, his voice is more suited for atmospheric or alternative stuff which is why it worked so well on el cielo and catch without arms. almost all the vocal melodies fail hard here
and the fact that the songs are bland doesnt help
