Thanks Steoandnoodles, I'll try your advice.
Just like almost everything else I listen to, I'm sure I will enjoy it more after I give it a few more listens.

I think it's about finding the right time, you know?
When I finally listen to an album; it's because I sit on it for a while, come back to it and then listen in a different perspective. =)

From their first and second? Yeah, it's quite different really. =/ Lyrically, musically... very different.

OOOooo. Oh that's fair. A lot of people consider Grizzly Bears an electronic Fleet Foxes. I think they're both incredible.
|
| |
Yeah? =/
That's one way of putting it. =)
I don't know. I like them a whole lot but prefer Fleet Foxes. I'm more into acoustic sounds though.

I loved the colab song between Robin Pecknold and Edward Droste. It was awesome. =)

This album is pretty good... I don't think it was good as their first album, though, and definitely not quite as memorable. It is still very good though. Sadly, whenever I hear Battery Kinzie, Sweeney Todd pops into my head, making the song that much less enjoyable for me. It's comforting to hear that there are still bands like this around.
