I don't know how anyone who likes weezer's other stuff can legitimately think this is below a 2. Yeah it's their worst up to this point but the hooks are still good and Rivers is at least trying with his lyrics again

Since this album I started to hate Weezer with passion. Their first 4 albums are the ones that I think are essential for me. Everything else is just Rivers masturbating himself with his idiotic musical interest.

The Damage in Your Heart almost gets decent but then the migraine starts to come. The monotonous sludge of power chords and tired vocals on here give me the worst headaches, and suck out any enjoyment I can have with the hooks.
Album is everything I initially hated about Green Album, amplified. Although I've grown to like The Green Album, maybe this will grow too some day...

Getting the Maladroit effect with this one, it's kinda growing on me. Most of the songs are still a tad overkill and Beverly Hills has no right to open this album up, it's so out of place. Should just be a bonus track. It's not as horrendous as I first thought it was. But still a 2, maybe a 2.5 on a good day.
