Not necessarily bad, just hard to ignore all that crackling as I have to turn the volume way down to enjoy this album

the production is that bad, it ruins his melodies because he mixes all the good parts in the red and if that's a stylistic choice to "mean something" or whatever it's a stupid idea.

I listen to this mostly while driving at night or early in the morning, and always really loud. I love the production, including the muddled melodies.
It just makes it so much more effective at teasing out emotions.

I only listen to this album on low, at night, falling asleep. Perhaps that is why I like it so much but, hey, for what that is, it's become a favorite.
