Years of Silence is stupid good
I love the balance of eccentricity and fun catchiness that's all throughout this album. Even in super aggressive moments like Doe Deer are fun as goddamn hell

Vietnam is gorgeous
Weird how they bounce between lovely and lush and monstrously abrasive here.
Honestly while this might not have quite the charm of their first album it's almost definitely more varied.

I feel they reined most of that in after the debut (excepting Doe Deer ofc), but their hit rate also went up after so maybe this was good

yes, and by a considerable distance tbh
all their other albums have at least a couple of S-tier bangers, but this is the only one where they knocked it out of the park end-to-end (could see CC3 being justified though tbh, but that one's ceiling isn't as high as the debut)

yeah cc3 is incredibly consistent but doesnt reach the highs the other do
for me its a tie between this and cc1 but i have a lot of nostalgia for 1 so it maybe edges this one out
