First CoB album I listen to, and it's awesome. Good way to get used to harsh screaming vocals, I've gotten used to the Death Metal growling but I can't get used to the black metal-ish screeches, listening to this band could be a good starter point, I think. Also If You Want Peace... Prepare For War, In Your Face and Bastards of Bodom are my favorite songs of this album.

Alexi really doesn't use a death metal growl at all. He screams pretty much the whole time.

Which is probably why he didn't call them death growls and called it harsh screaming vocals....

Check out Shining by Inearthed. Its bodom before their name change and it features the use of clean electric guitar

I know dude, I've had that album for a while but since Roope's all classically trained on guitar it has the potential to be fantastic

Hmm...i did not know that.

Then 2 things they should do:
-throw i nthat acoustic
-get a new singer (alexi can stay on guitars but his time on the microphone is up)

''If you want Piece....Prepare for War'' is one of their worst songs imo.

I didn't really liked the way they were going with this album. But heck, it's perfectly executed metal.

@Dethtrasher: No, they shouldn't.This Message Edited On 11.19.08

Ok, this album has seriously become one of my favorites, listened to the whole discography and now I can rate how much I like each of CoB's albums: Are You Dead Yet? stays as their best for me, Hatebreeder and Hatecrew Deathroll after that. Then Follow The Reaper, after that Something Wild and far behind Bloddrunk.

Although every album (except Bloddrunk) is damn awesome. Heck, I've even started to like Alexi's vocals. In this album he's at his best, though.
