I liked The Bends. I actually like Amnesiac and In Rainbows a little as well. And by the way, how is it at all okay to criticize my opinion? What the heck did I do to you?

Whatever. Anyone have any rec's to help me appreciate this album more?

you should probably just move on with your life or something. if you don't really like an album, you don't like it

I'll give it more time for sure. It's hard cause I like bits and pieces of every song but the songs seem to screw themselves over at some point as well. And, I know it isn't the common opinion, but I just strongly dislike Thom's voice. It really gets on my nerves.

I really can't see anyone who likes music not loving it (sounds retarded) but yeah [2]

This is a good review but the album really isn't offensive enough for someone not to be able to stand it, imo

This is another album I don't get at all.

so goddamn good what the fuck guys

The album itself isn't offensive. It's more to do with certain sites/mags/people/whatever claiming this is the best album since Bach.

Seriously. I can get how you might think it's a bit monotonous/uneventful, but not being able to stand it? wuuuuut

I just don't see what the big deal is with this album. Musicianship? no. Pioneering any new stuff? no. Vocals? no. Good electronic? no. This is a complete snooze to me.

It's a good album. A little overrated, but good nonetheless. Hating it is ridiculous.

"Musicianship? no. Pioneering any new stuff? no. Vocals? no. Good electronic? no."
ffs, man. It's Radiohead. The answer to all your questions is a big yes.

Don't see it. These guys can't play well. They haven't pioneered anything. Thom Yorke can't sing that well to me. Electronic is too big of a genre for me to put this anywhere near good electronic.
