But yeah, I think the overall opinions on this particular album have been mixed everywhere. Some like it, others dislike it. I think either judgement is fair but the extreme (being a 1 or a 5) would be mighty difficult to back up with a solid explanation.

problem is if I really and I mean really wanted to dissect this record beyond my initial judgment of "this is everything wrong about modern faux-independent rock" I'd have to spend more time listening to the fucking thing.
