Yeah I definitely prefer this to Selling England.

2nd favourite Genesis overall.

almost a shame that Floyd exists.

And that Animals is one of the best pieces of music ever constructed.

Why??

Because Floyd rivals Genesis for me in the British Prog Big 5.

Also Floyd has Gilmour, who has to be in my Top 10 guitar players.

I'm wondering why it's a shame.

Floyd and Genesis are pretty close for me too, they're my 2nd and 3rd favourite prog bands behind Tull.

I've only heard Aqualung, TAAB and MitG, and each of 'em once.

Jethro Tull's one of those bands that took me a long time to really enjoy for some reason. Even now they're not one of my favorite classic prog bands

"almost a shame that Floyd exists."

"Because Floyd rivals Genesis for me in the British Prog Big 5."

That's the worst logic I've ever heard

I mean, if Floyd didn't exist, Genesis might easily be my fave out of the British Prog Big 5 (which would become a Big 4). But, since that isn't the case, well...

Selling England is by far my favorite. Like, it crushes everything else they did except Supper's Ready and maybe Musical Box.

SEBtP is great, the only major issue I have with it is that Aisle of Plenty doesn't fulfill me as a closer.

Selling England is 3rd best Genesis. It lacks the flow and consistency of their 2 best albums.

I find Selling England flows perfectly. I like how Aisle of Plenty reprises parts of Dancing with the
Moonlit Knight

Nero, strangely enough I agree with you. I used to think this was better, but Selling edged it out for me.
