I was tuning in an Azor Heavy Metal + Revert pedal fed into my AXE I/O dual-channel out to my Bose computer speakers and the sound I got reminded me a lot of this album, and all of this actually got me to start learning the album recently. So here are my settings:
Azor Heavy Metal: Vol just past 12 o'clock, Classic, Mid just short of 3 o'clock, Distortion 1 o'clock
Azor Reverb: Mix just short of 12 o'clock, Dwell 2 o'clock
The end result is huge and is a better tone for Meteora than anything I've heard in any of the Amplitube presets I have saved.

I hated A Thousand Suns when it came out but came to love it after Chester died. I shed some serious tears the first time I listened to Waiting for the End after his passing.

I would guess that it will eventually be looked at differently in the future. It was an album that had strikingly little cultural influence after its release but is hugely important for Linkin Park's discography, basically being a better written and more experimental sequel to Minutes to Midnight.

Waiting for the End deserves to be on a much better album than the overheated gamer-industrial disaster that is A Thousand Suns

I think that's somewhat fair. I can really only listen to A Thousand Suns if I listen to the whole thing but I find it to be engrossing. The songs don't work well on their own IMO besides Waiting for the End.
I'd go Reanimation > Hybrid Theory >= Meteora > Minutes to Midnight >>> A Thousand Suns >>>> everything else

I don’t want to be a hater but I can see why Lost was cut. Offers nothing novel that the other tracks here don’t and the lyrics are pretty unrefined.
Also, wonder if the Shinoda backing vocals in the bridge are recent overdubs or if they were on the original mix
