Page was least original in terms of riffs/songwriting, yes. his solos should not be questioned though, the man was downright lyrical on the guitar.

JPJ was such a low profile musician (even if he's great)

JPJ's my fave of the 3 bassists, but opinions I guess.

He and Bonzo are my fave members of the Zep.

Perfectly subjective but easy to choose for me. Blackmore > Iommi > Page. Iommi is the riff master but Blackmore is very underrated on that department and his solos are much better than anything those two guys did. However, the reason that Blackmore is easily my favorite is his live performances. Iommi or Page are not even close to Blackmore when it comes to improvisations and extended solos.

Tbh, Page is not even on my top 20 of guitarists. I prefer guys like Winter, Gallagher, Allman, Moore, Clapton or Green by quite a margin when it comes to blues rock guitarists.

Which Winter?

And agreed, no one can reach Blackmore in live performances

Johnny. I'm afraid I'm not as familiar with Edgar's work; I seriously need to change that.

Iommi I find to have the most emotion in his playing. Not saying Blackmore doesnt, but hes a little more self-indulgent.

"Frankenstein dude, Frankenstein"

I've heard Frankenstein, it's a great track but I still need to check a few albums by Edgar so as to form an opinion about his work.

Iommi's clearly god. He has an awesome tone and he's a better guitarist than he takes credit for. In "Falling Off The Edge Of The World" the dude practically shreds.
