Your right; it's close, but its still above 75. That's not really much though, and the difference for bands like The Mars Volta and Thrice are way bigger comparing the general concensus and Sputnick to be honest. However, that's a completely different matter though.

This record sounds like shit after listening to a few classical pieces. I'm not getting this either, it's pretty generic, the "You Are There" formula works much better for them.

It gets better for a couple of songs but "Flames Beyond the Cold Mountain" owns this whole record.

This is way more consistent than You Are There. Even though You Are There has Mono's best songs, this is still the better record as a whole.

Both are classic's for me but the thing is if you listen to any of Mono's older material they've always done the "You Are There" guitar lead, minimalistic style.

With this they try to expand into a more grandiose sound, and I think it works wonders. I think this is their best.
