Just finished this, definitely rules. I think I like it more than Darkspace.

I think this is better than any Darkspace album, but both bands rule hard.

Yeah the atmosphere is so fantastically realized. Usually BM this bleak takes a bit to click with me but this was more or less immediate. Outro is amazing too.

This took a while for me to appreciate, that was because of the lo-fi, but there was always a very special atmosphere to it. Even on the first listen. It's one of my favorite metal albums now.

Yeah it's too nice outside for this but still enjoying. I'm pretty much over my lo fi fears now and have been all the happier exploring BM because of it.

Yeah you can't be picky with production if you're gonna be a bm fan lol.

Well I just didn't get it at first. But once I looked at lo fi as a conscious production decision that has a specific goal, then it started to make sense to me. It's a pretty obvious point of view considering lo fi production wasn't the only available option to these bands but I had to remind myself of that a few times.

Gonna 4 this now as a placeholder, probably gonna go up.
