Finally got around to getting this. It's great, although the constant octave harmony on the vocal melodies is getting a little grating.

The vocal melodies make the album.

The beautiful guitar lines and drumming make this album for me. I do love the vocals, but as I said, the same octave harmony begins to grate.

i'm not really all that fond of "The Space For This." that's really the only song keeping this from being better than Focus

Space for This is awesome, wtf?

I don't hear the 'classic' nature of this album when I listen to it...
It's a good release, but nothing overly special in my opinion.

Pretty good review. I loved Focus but this one hasn't sinked in yet...I just figure that the reason I love Focus so much is that I've listened to it an incredible amount of times, and as Cynic obviously haven't changed their formula so much as updated it and augmented it, it'll be the same with this album. I've refrained from rating the album until I've given it sufficient listens.

I've listened to this and Focus probably about the same amount of times and I just think that this is way better. The replay value is a lot better on this album.

this grew on me a lot but still not 5 worthy. the space for this rules really really hard.

Adam's Murmur is probably my favorite song. The Space For This, Integral Birth, and Evolutionary Sleeper aren't far behind though.
