I had an instant ''I must get this, nao~!'' with this so if it's true it's a grow album, I'm scared how fanboy-ish I'll become over this album.

Every time I find myself a mind-blowing album, it so short.

So I'm glad this album actually delivers with it's 80 minutes of pure orgasmic melodies.

''Blut im Augen'' has, for me, the best melody. For now. But I'm still exploring every song.

Classic, if you ask me. It just gives you this wonderful feeling that takes away all of your stress.

Nah, I've heard all songs a couple of times now and I'm sure I like ''Des Sängers Fluch'' the most.

That intro just gives me chills every time

That's actually become my favorite song as well. The epicness of that section that starts at 3:38 cannot be topped.

Unless you're the 5-8 minute mark of Mana, then yeah you can be topped.

It may be because Demians has been growing on me with every listen (15 full listens - better every time) but this has finally grown off of me to a point that i've decided to lower this to a 4.5 Granted its a fucking high 4.5 and still one of my favorite albums ever, just not as amazing as I thought 3 months ago. It's gonna be really close between this and Demians for my top album of 08.

What's Deminas?

This grew off me a little bit too, but it was so damn awesome to begin with, it's still a solid and worthy 5 for me.

french prog rock, with a whole lot of ambient and folky guitar leads. A lot of people on the site seem to think it's a bit longer than it should be, but I can't get enough of it (I listened to it 8 times in full in the first week I got it, it was pretty much all i listened to that week).

More like Moonsorrow, but not really black metal. Definitely not lame like Ensiferum type of epic though.

rating depends on the person as per usual, if you wholeheartedly enjoy upbeat folk metal then get it

I know that. just trying to sort out through '08 metal, alot of mediocre metal gets hyped around Sputnik and you generally rise above alot of that. Ensifurnum makes me want to bleed out out of my ears, form clots and never let me listen to it again. This Message Edited On 11.19.08

yeah ensiferum are pretty lame. you might appreciate these guys, they're reasonably good, i was just bored with this album. but yeah, if you like moonsorrow, this might be up your alley, just be sure to expect a little more death elements, rather than black like moonsorrow.

Personally I love Ensiferum, despite the cheese. They were insane live.

This band wears off extremely fast.

Deathbringer From The Sky is easily one of the gems in modern metal. I like the ladt album much, better.
