Yeah Anthony sounds fine to me, a little flatter than normal, might have phoned it in a little bit, but still same old AG. It's just the songwriting, everything feels thrown together and flat. Nothing catches my ear or makes me think (that was pretty cool can't wait to hear this song again.
I guess 16 year old me was wrong, Anthonys original departure was actually a good thing. TTN was a result of young, sporadic passion.

I bet Anthony came back in, threw his weight around and got their guitarist kicked out so he could make it how he wanted. Hell they probably butted heads back in the day with the style they wanted from the band
I read an fb post where he acted like he had no clue why he was let go and the rest of the band didn't even really give him a clear explanation. This is a founding member lol
