i just watched them play bloodmeat live on some MTV thing and seriously, it was amazing. they were shitty before live IMO but now Rody can actually hit all the notes like on the cd. i was so impressed that i literally got goosebumps. and beards FTW.

It was rumored "Mantra" was Maynard squeezing his cat (though greatly slowed down) I dont think it's been proved though.
Well, only 6 days till I get it, but I succumbed and listened to a little on their myspace. It all sounds so awesome.

I don't know what to say about this album. Very interesting and kind of a new sound to my ears. I can say that I like this more than Kezia. However, I gave Kezia 4/5, but this doesn't feel like a 4.5/5 for me even if its better. I'll see if it grows on me a little more, but for now it will also be a 4/5 even if I like more than Kezia.

It'll grow, it's not even out yet. It took me a month to feel comfortable giving this a 4.5
I don't see a reason not to dig the NES solo.
The fact that you can justifiably call it a "NES" solo is reason enough.
And instead of playing the beginning of the song on repeat why dont you just listen to the whole thing, since the bass does that more than once. This Message Edited On 01.25.08
