I’m familiar with that video and with what you describe - certainly understand that this could be a deal breaker for someone - it took me a while to process and while I do feel sticky about it in a couple of ways, i eventually decided that this man’s ravings don’t meet the threshold for me to discontinue engaging with their art

Out of curiosity, does it bother you that someone would simply enjoy the music or does it bother you that someone would support the music monetarily?

revisiting this after ages

believe it or not Niklas isn't that bad of a guy I have it on good source that he plays it up to get hype. I think many knew that. Believe it or not he's just a dude who deals with mental issues and a nerd (big film nerd, music nerd, even likes soundtrack music like twin peaks, etc.) but he's fucked up for real, far as his mental health. But his whole tough scary guy is just promo.

Yeah well
1) being mentally ill doesn't get you a pass for doing fucked up shit, and
2) if he tells people with mental health issues to kill themselves just to act tough and "get the hype" then this is even more fucked up and makes him a bigger piece of shit
