i like this album, a lot better than City Of Evil. Critical Acclaim is my new favourite A7X song. I like how experimental it is, A Little Piece Of Heaven is like something out of an old horror movie lol

haven't heard this, but I don't like City of Evil very much, so I don't think I'll be checking this out any time soon.

I despise this band so much. It seems like they never actually TRY to make their own music. It's always a copy for them. City of evil attempted to copy guns n roses... zacky vengeance practically mimicked slashes guitar style. have you ever seen the video to bat country? his solo screams slash fan boy. Waking the fallen was the only cd that showed any attempt at making their own sound, and if they had continued with it, they could have been great. No, they had to copy guns. And now they are trying to become the next pantera (they covered walk... it was horrible)... if they had stayed with their WTF sound, and continued to improve and innovate upon it, they woulda been a respectable metalcore band.

Covering Walk doesn't mean they're trying to be like pantera.... This and city sound nothing like Vulger display of Power, Cowboys From Hell or anything else pantera has done.
And I admit the only guns cd i've heard is Appetite for Destruction, but that didn't share many similarities with City of Evil.

I've never liked a7x but i can accept this as a guilty pleasure. It's an ok rock'n'roll album. Not metal though. I like them better as a rock band anyways.

nah, City of Evil would be good if Shadows didn't sing through his nose. I do enjoy "Almost Easy" from time to time though.

I'm not a metalcore fan,so I pretty much hate everything this band has put out.I even hate this one really but its not as horrendously bad as their others.Just my opinion,if there's anyone who likes metalcore,that's cool.

They haven't put out a metalcore album since 2003...unless you'd like to make an argument as to how this or City of Evil are even remotely close to being metalcore.

Never said this was metalcore,it isn't, and that's why I like it more than anything else they made.City of Evil is just plain boring,still better than anything before then.

^ I know,that's why I don't like them.There are perhaps one,possibly two decent Metalcore bands,but the genre is boring as a whole-scream verses,sing sable chorus,repeat,breakdown,solo,monster use of bass pedals throughout,all without being in any way interesting.Or at least that's how I see it.This Message Edited On 10.31.08
