I say this every now and then (in Kirk's hilarious cookie monster vocals) to my friends and we always get a nice laugh out of it. Funny that Metallica posted the St. Anger music video on facebook today. They had to have known everyone in the comments would bash the shit out of them.

Honestly the production on this is like the least of its problems



The songwriting and lyrics are just terrible and every song is like at least four minutes too long

This album has some hard riffs though.

The length is one of it's worst problems. Every song is like three or four riffs repeated for 8 minutes.

yeah that's my main problem with this album tbh, like if every song was trimmed down to like 3-5 mins id consider this to be an enjoyable album
