I always forget this isn't part of the trilogy but I definitely agree that it's an honorary member. Way better than Lodger too

it wasn't recorded in Berlin so no, it's not part of the trilogy also LMAO LODGER IS THE BEST OF THE TRILOGY BY FAR.

I enjoy Lodger more than Heroes, but no way is it better than Low. This/Low are my 1/2 in whichever order (changes frequently).

Low > Lodger by a long shot [2]

'This/Low are my 1/2 in whichever order (changes frequently).' [2] except toss in Hunky Dory and that's my 1/2/3

I love Heroes. More than Lodger. (That's why I didn't quote that specific part of Demon's text lol.)

Heroes' is literally one 5/5 song and then buncha filler material lol. Low is cool, but Lodger is superior to both.

imagine thinking secret life of arabia and sons of a silent age arent great songs

imagine not being able to digest the majesty of 70s german ambient electronic in some of the other songs

Low is so much better

Beauty and the Beast and The Secret Life of Arabia are not filler lol

I will agree that the title track towers above everything tho

Low is best Bowie but I slightly prefer Lodger to Heroes

This is third best Bowie and a 5 rating, still has to fall behind Ziggy innit

Ziggy is great and Top Five Bowie, but it's bookends are so great that the middle section sags *just a tad* in comparison. That's why I would rank Low, Station, and Hunky Dory above it. No such problems there. Ziggy is probably my #4 with either Blackstar, Outside, or Heroes in fifth, depending on my mood that day.

I mean, I love Joe the Lion but wouldn't call it a 5/5
