jokes aside i'd love to understand the reasoning behind such differing opinions as someone who wasn't around back then
especially in the chariot's case where literally nothing about their style or songwriting really changed that would even begin to warrant such a huge discrepancy in popular opinion
just comes off like the clock struck 2010 and sput decided this style was good all the sudden lol

@Alex yea those early albums got shit on a lot, Sput users were a lot more, uh, slow back then and Norma Jean and The Chariot were both shit on a lot because of their associations with more “scene” bands at the time. Wrongdoers and Long Live both being really strong albums kinda made people reevaluate their works on the whole and I think if you could do a recount ofthe ratings for the old stuff they’d be higher

@Dad nice dude, it’s def really underrated and it’s one of my favorites now. I didn’t really like it when it came out but eventually I got used to the more old school post-hardcore direction fell in love with it
