I had to check your ratings to confirm whether you were being sincere or not Pika. Can't trust anyone these days.

I originally dismissed the 'horror-core' albums as a corny idea, but they are in fact really great.

horrorcore can be good

for example, the birthday party although they like to flirt with neon synthwave sensibilities along the way

"A Grave Mistake by Ice Nine Kills is a great song and the only reason I know what The Crow is. Probably going to check out the original"

Imo the original is kinda overrated. It's an ok movie.

eh, I will give it a whirl. It sounds like a mash-up of a super hero film with some 'horror' leanings.

Anyway, doesn't need a re-recording, perfect album

This rules but man do they really strip back some of the technical proficiency for big pop-punkish choruses and it's kind of dissapointing.

Any Saosin that even approaches Translating the Name or nah

Prob not lol. I dig this more than TTN but just by a tad. But then again I first heard this when I was 13 so it holds a special place in my heart.

Ice Nine Kills is kinda lame but its leagues better than anything than guys like Motionless in White are doing now a days with horrorcore i guess.

God i've grown such a massive distaste for Motionless

Chris is afaik a great dude and actually did a lot for my local community years back, supposedly funded the building of new nursing home after our old one went to fucking hell but god they have the most shallow edgy brand of metalcore lmao

Motionless in White's debut is one of my fav albums ever but yeah they're unbearable nowadays lol.

INK is pretty gimmicky with the horror thing, but I feel they do it well.

I have never understood the appeal of motionless. Black veil bride levels of corn.

Motionless had some good songs back in the day. Their vocalist has always been great though ngl
