this album just straight fuckin' rips

kind of got buried in the dozens of decent metalcore bands popping up at the time unfortunately. Guitarwork on this is at least on par with The Oncoming Storm, and may well be better if I'm being honest. Fantastic vocal performance. Fucking delicious solos (I Die in Degrees uhnnnn). *Almost* every track pays off.

their only good record here

if I had to choose the best ATR song it'd either be Focus Shall Not Fail or I Die In Degrees

I Die In Degrees has a brilliant solo and the leads after it are one of the most memorable parts of the album for me. Like, it's fuckin' perfection. Vicious Betrayal leading into IDID is just fantastic.

Only just - I'd say this is their best but The Fall of Ideals is a lot more accessible.

Both are great - enough said.

enough said on the topic, sure, but plenty to be celebrated; TFOI was a celebration in progression for this band, while TDH was a harvesting of hardcore roots the likes of which this band hasn't been able to touch on since
