I bet it does! Can never decide if I prefer this album or the debut vocal wise. Both of them are so damn good though. Some of the best dm from this era imo. It's a shame I don't dig the stuff they did after nearly as much. The follow up to this is solid enough though

its one of the very few examples i can think of where an artists best album is a live one.
all the songs have such a better energy live. opeth guy sounds massive and so do the drums. eaten in particular is just so much better on that live album.

Nice. I've got it on right now and I see what you mean on the energy thing already. I'm normal not much of a live album guy but the sound on this one is pretty killer. Wish Cry My Name was part of the set. Was kinda bummed to see it missing cuz it's my favorite from them
