I like Pots and Pika... I just think their rating sucks. Something's missing. An explanation would suffice.

Pots is a pretty thoughtful dude. I know he's got a reason beyond the easy snides.

there's been a lot of mixed reviews and reactions, but I think it's a solid comeback, the lengths of the songs and the supposed dragging of the songs doesn't bother me one bit, that is all

Who here is even complaining about the song lengths? Their last two albums were all 7+ minutes on average, plus they said something about the song lengths on this long before it was released. Can't imagine why anyone would've expected short songs.

Definitely a great comeback, even though I think they could've done better. But a lot of bands try doing albums after 10+ years and end up making terrible albums so at least Tool didn't fall into that trap.

Invincible and Pneuma don’t need to be over 10 mins tbh. It really felt like they were reaching on those two songs just to say they passed the 10 min mark

Dude, after 13 years of anticipation and people hyping it up in their head to the point where they’ll be disappointed no matter what — there was always going to be mixed reactions. But I think not only did they meet expectations, they far exceeded them. I didn’t really expect it to be better than 10k Days and basically match Aenima quality wise.

They’ll never top Lateralus though.

The t/t is great. I just listened to it so many times before the album came out that it had become old hat when we finally got the album.

Trif — you know within you that a 3.5 for this album is blasphemous.

Ahaha! Let's put it this way: another rating bump isn't something totally unimaginable, but there are still some issues.
