"I meant to homogeneous af"
I see where you're coming from, with it all being fast riffs and chaotic vocals. To me it feels solid throughout, and a damn good ride

The clean moments are relatively few and far between so not really

I rather have a consistent good album that experiments a little instead of an album that doesn't have any focus.

People on sputnik always hate when something is similair or sounds "the same". As long as it's good I don't fucking care, it's good music. I think this album sort of hits the sweetspot, it expirements a little(Collapse,Charging the Void), but doesn't throw away what made them good.

Be quiet, you filthy prole.
You make a good point, though. I'd want the mellow parts closer to the middle, but that is extreme nitpicking.

"BF>OI>this imo"
Agreed !
I was disappointed by Terminal Redux, myself. Still pretty solid, don't get me wrong. I'm not going to say it's mediocre, like the troll that tried that earlier lol.
@Metalrain: I think the problem here is that people want to stick with popular opinions instead of giving their honest opinion. I couldn't care less if it sounds similar to something else or not. I like it or i don't...and i rate according to that :p
Also, as long as you like something, don't let anyone tell you you shouldn't like it ^^
In the end, we're all different, hear things differently and have different musical experiences.

I'm still amazed at how easy this is to listen to even though it's 73 minutes long and technical as fuck.

Just bought all of Vektor's albums on a whim, but I haven't heard any of their music before. Which album should I start with?

@Shoegazefan9789: Start chronogically, imo.

Chronologically is a good idea. Black Future is the least cohesive of the 3, but there are some really killer riffs throughout so it's definitely a good place to start. Outer Isolation was a bit more of a grower for me, but ultimately ended up eclipsing Black Future. Terminal Redux is slightly better than OI. I think the scope of this album is what sets apart from the other two. The story is really cool, and despite its run time does not feel the least bit drawn out. I could, and do, listen to Recharging the Void every single day. That song is a masterpiece.
