I feel like because of him having kids, her going public with this was overall stupid. I get that as a guy who was revering his music, it was probably for the best I discovered he was problematic, but I just think it's a bummer that his kids will inevitably wonder what Daddy did for a living, and whereas they would have found out he was a cool and respected musician, they will instead just have a huge cloud hanging over the whole thing.

I still agree the Girl has the right to be heard in a time of revelation and abuse calling out, I just feel like if she herself was aware he had kids, she might have been nice and took an alternative route. But anyway, forget it.

I keep going back and forth on this album, (and the rest of the band's catalog as well), and right now I'm thinking that if I have to justify the morality of it, maybe I shouldn't listen to it

It's just strange. I've got no qualms admitting the Man had an ear for music and a way with words. I just feel like a dumbass for all the assumptions I feel like I made about how he's bound to be a decent Guy. I'm not saying he doesn't have decent qualities, it's just, man, 24 is a lot older than where I can put someone's mistake to one side (in the case of underage predator style stuff, anyway). I love the music but it is kinda ruined now. But it'd be stupid to get too upset about that. I'm jamming City of Caterpillar now.
