Listening Wind is impeccable, I proper levelled it up this morning (love it when this happens). The second half in general is getting sneaky good

controversial perhaps, but "Once In A Lifetime" has been overplayed into oblivion recently (weirdly) and hearing it outside of this context has sorta ruined it for me. I'd probably enjoy it more otherwise

Yeah ā€œonce in a lifetimeā€ is a bit of an uncanny valley thing to me, heard it a billion times growing up (mom and sister both huge into Talking Heads, for one)

In the 80s, around the age of 7, I saw the live version of Once in a Lifetime on national television, and Byrne’s floppy movements and paranoid saccades scared the shit out of me.

Probably my first encounter with a genius.

Other memorable mentions are the videos of Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer and The Cure’s Lullaby.

can't believe I forgot Dewi! I remember joking that he must be hitting a midlife crisis because of his liking of something (I forget what it was now)

and gabba is old too, excellent!

I feel young(ish) again
