Give this Melvins remix of Not in Rivers, But in Drops a listen. They reintroduced some of the grime that disappeared between Panopticon and In the Absence...

Plus you can actually decipher Aaron Harris's vocals.

Actually, just go find "Temporal" and listen to that. Couple of spectacular remixes (aforementioned and Holy Tears remix) and a Godflesh cover of "Streetcleaner" on that thang.

It makes me cry. One of those timeless albums that never ceases to take you on its emotional rollercoaster.

Imagine a gig with every fan that consider this one of the best albums of all time attending. It would create a new spiritual deity

Not much of a rant but also agreed

When I saw them in 2007 it was a small, dark, hot venue and they cold opened with So Did We, it was the best show ever made

I also saw tool on this tour, and ISIS was supposed to be supporting them for the leg of the tour I had tickets for but they had to drop off the tour last-minute

I saw them in 07 too. In Sydney. Band called Laura opened for them and were amazing. One of the best shows I've been to

I saw them open for Tool during the Absence tour. I didn’t know who they were but they were amazing. They closed their set with a song that completely mesmerized me and blew me away. That song was EASILY the highlight of the night for me. The next day, I researched online to figure out what the name of that song was and I finally figured out what it was.

So did we.

For me it was "Waiting for You" by Cult of Luna. I was like "what is this style of music that starts of tiny and gets bigger" and there you have it
