That’s pretty much the way it’s gone now yeah.
I didn’t experience anything like you did but then I’d still moved house about eight times and attended maybe six different schools by the time Nevermind came out and I feel that had fucked me up a bit, always felt two or three years behind everyone around me.
Nirvana were absolutely massive for me and now I feel a bit guilty I let them drift a bit in my estimations before joining this site. Right up there again now.

From then (1991-94) to now the ones who have forever remained are Nirvana, R.E.M and for reasons I don’t quite understand The Levellers.
