Porcelain Heart is flawed but still good, and besides the bs at the end Burden is beautiful

Ok. That one part in lotus eaters where it sounds like hell is erupting from the earth's core is just brilliant.

I can't think of any other time except maybe live with songs like Wreath

ohhh ok yeah
|
| |
best part of the album is where the acoustic guitar goes out of tune
maybe my prob with modern Opeth is that I'm not a Camel or PT fan sorry

that part is pretty cool

You don't have to be a camel or PT fan to like Opeth. I like tem for entirely different reasons and I'm not a big fan of Camel myself. Burden sadly drags on for too long

Burden is great until the real song ends and the bs downtuning starts

It doesn't ave the beautiful subtleness that Coil has, but it's sure as hell better than porcelain heart

Album Rating: 4.5
coil is pretty depressing probably my least favorite

Album Rating: 4.5
The depressing element to it is what makes it so good. Music that's beautiful and depressing go hand in hand for me

Hessian Peel has to be one of the best ones in the album. The lyrics are giving me the chills, and I'm
not talking about the reversed ones (that are cool too)
