I want to know what all the fuss is about. So far I don't hate it but some parts are just ruined by how in your face everything is at all times, like in Holy Wars (Upon my podium..) that part just sounds way shittier

Eh, it wasn't horrible. If I hadn't been listening to the original for all of eternity, I wouldn't think twice about it because the song writing is still superb. I'll never listen to it again though and I am now jamming the original

Yeah it's still the same album obviously but the remaster just makes everything sound inferior to the original. I can understand why someone who's only heard the remaster wouldn't mind it but when you compare it to the original there's no contest as to which one sounds better.

Most remasters of awesome albums are only bad albums by the standard set by the original release. They're still far superior to the competition in the field.

Megadeth fans have the worst fanbase in the history of metal an always will. People think Dave Mustaine write all the riffs and leads but it was really Marty Friedman. This album is not the best metal album of all time. So it's safe to say its over rated by miles
