Maybe for others. This has only gotten more dull with consecutive for listens for me. I'm a huge fan of their other albums, but the mediocre vocals are much too high in the mix and this time it feels far more like style over substance. All their other albums were either atmosheric and/or crushing enough to be exciting the whole way through. They also all had at least one standout phenomenal track. This just feels like spoiled milk. It doesn't do anything they haven't done better before.

I mean the band has a distinct sound which shifts slightly, but noticeably over time: you either like it, or you don't. I'd think the shifts in their sound are more than a token though.
