"I've never met anyone IRL who knows misery signals. everyone knows underoath."
influential =/= popular
Underoath are definitely a bigger name than Misery Signals but when it comes to actual musicians within the scene who are familiar with its music, Misery Signals has definitely had the most influence.

I'd pick Underoath over Mis Sigs any time. But Mis Sigs are undoubtedly awesome

This is my fav album between both bands but I’d prob take Misery Signals overall tbh.

I remember showing my friend Misery Signal when Absent Light came back.
You know a band is good when his response was 'I'm pissed off at myself for not hearing these sooner'.

I'd have to pick UnderOath over Misery Signals, but it's close.
Anyway this continues to be perfect in every way, I think I'm starting to prefer it to TOCS : /

This album never clicked with me, I should give it a re-listen. Kind of in that weird position where it's neither that catchy or heavy

I mean compared to the albums that came before & after it, I feel like it gets lost in the shuffle
I didn't really grow up with Underoath, they were just that band that had that cool metalcore song on Rock Band 2 (Desperate Times, Desperate Measures)
