LMAO Watchmen is a killer graphic novel, a strong, creative, meandering, and ultimately confused and incomplete movie, and now apparently a super mediocre lame TV show. That trailer did nothing for me unfortunately. Killer avatar though, love the yellow. I just changed mine from that greyscale TV from the game I was making like 10 years ago that I used for like the same amount of time and suddenly noticed a bunch of others changing theirs too.

I swear animated gif avatars didn't work for many years but after The Great Outage of 2019 my upload suddenly worked. Were they bigger than 100x100 before? It seems like they were but wasn't sure if I was imagining that.

You could upload almost any dimensions and they'd just get shrunk to fit under your name there. Now it looks like the rules are a lot more strict. My avatar is also a gif too so it'd be cool to see it move like one but unfortunately it was static when I uploaded it lol

Highly recommend even Photoshop for gifs. I'd never used Photoshop's Timeline until the other day, when I took a few sprites from Metal Warriors and added some glows and flickers and learned how to animate em. Good for resizing too. Too bad about the file size limit though, I had to shrink it wayyyy down and cut out 1/3rd of the frames and make it fuzzy. They max it at like 28kb.

You can get by the rule if your avatars are square, so even a 500 x 500 can be uploaded with luck. Mine is wide, so that could be the reason.

Ahhh so, solution: make it a gif on a bigger canvas, whatever, 500x500 let's say, then center your gif vertically, then take the top & bottom empty bars of canvas, and make them the exact same color value of grey that typically sits beneath our usernames. So it's a square image that looks wide.
