Lulu is bad. Not the worst thing ever, but pretty bad nevertheless



I still like that such a big, succesful and nowadays, commercial band, dared to pull out something less safe and "experimental". It shows that they still care about music as an art form, even if they don't manage to pull it off



Or maybe it just was an episode of pretentiousness, who knows lol

A classic among the classics, about which I think everything has been said. Perhaps their best album, although you should always remember about Dark Side of the Moon. It will probably pass next decades and still be a musical reference. A masterpiece of the best psychedelic band of all time.

in lulu's case, metallica didn't try to pull anything off. They were under the "management" and supervision of Lou Reed. He told them what to play and exactly how to play it so you can't really put the blame on their behalf
