I still prefer Skinny Fists, it isn't depressive like this one, it is just pure emotion. One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard

Skinny Fists is completely different mood-wise and relies more on loud guitar crescendos and melody in general rather than dark ambient or drone

Hard for me to pick between them. I love them both so much. Same band, basically the same genre, but still feels like comparing apples to oranges.

I've been depressive as hell this last semester so I haven't jammed this cause it would probably make me feel worse. I jam Skinny Fists a lot though since it is one of the most uplifting albums I've heard

Slow Riot is, to me the best thing they ever did. Essential.

I love Slow Riot but I believe this and Skinny Fists are better. It's possible that I just haven't given it enough time yet.
