@iglu it sounds like they improvised it and Chinos vocals sound uninspired as shit, only the bass is good but the rest of the song is flawless

Riviere is up there with their best closers.

Agreed, though closers are not a strong side of the band unfortunately
Aside from Pink Maggit and This Place Is Death, that shit’s stellar
Others range from good to mediocre

"closers are not a strong side of the band unfortunately"
I mean... depends on what you consider a "strong" closer. If you like songs that slap... I can kinda see that argument although the two below are amazing.
Pink Maggit (depending on the version)
MX
They tend to have sleepier closers, more focused on being beautiful and atmospheric, really trying to pin down the vibe of the album, as opposed to just monstrous, crushing songs.

@Valkoor MX is sweet but nothing special as a Deftones' song really
WH2Y is thrash (it's a good song on it's own but for Deftones' standards it isn't) and is one of their weakest tracks ever

Is there any other version of Pink Maggit?
I must've forgotten...or wanted to forget it.

Deftones have consistently astounding closers tbh
MX, Pink Maggit, Rivière, This Place Is Death, What Happened To You, and Rubicon are all among their very best
