Heavy and dark is best for me, I like when they actually feel things over them just pretending to be just emotionless bad-asses

it's definitely their most "fun" album since Rated R, it may not be as good as this but it's still enjoyable as hell.

gave it a 4 because I didn't liked unreborn and hideaway, but I'm starting to really like the latter

Villains takes at least a few listens with good headphones to click, the production is stylized but not bad at all. Plus it's a bad watermarked stream rip
The Evil Has Landed, Feet Don't Fail Me, Villains of Circumstance, Hideaway, Head Like A Haunted House are all top-tier QOTSA. It's like a weird, dancey mix of Lullabies, LC, SFTD and TCV With pinches of Zeppelin, Bowie and the obvious Iggy Pop influence from his tour with him. I like it a lot

Last two are probably best. The Evil Has Landed is a beast.

I'm liking the rating for Villains right now. Obviously most people haven't heard it but it feels like a 3.9 or 4 so hopefully it stays in that area.

New album leaked ? Shitttt, I need to at least listen to "Feet Don't Fail Me".
Really hope the new album is at least a 4. Still buying it though.

I definitely need to wait for the actual release before I listen to this again, the leak definitely wasn't good (not unlistenable though). Really good first listen though

Everything I've heard from Villains has me convinced it'll be a monster dud but I'm liking all of these positive opinions I'm seeing.

Yeah, the positivity is definitely welcome.

The record really has it's own charm.
Opening and closing tracks are both top 10 tier Queens tracks.

Trying to decide where to rank 'Villains' in their discog. Definitely above RR, self-titled and EV.
Evil has Landed, Feet Dont Fail Me, Head Like a Haunted House and Villains of Circumstance are definitely among the best tracks they've ever written. Song writing is overall strong, it just feels a bit inconsistent.
