Yep. I dunno man this album just feels like it's missing somethings? Can't explain it, as if it's lacking..

It's lacking the 4+ other fantastic songs they wrote from these sessions but didn't include in this for whatever stupid reason. Another reason why LFTB version is better, it includes two of 'em.

I like how short this is. It's not only amazingly consistent but it's very easy to digest.

sounds like their HTTT days and prior

"i hope not"
just my educated guess but yeah radiohead dont do a lot of single releasing of songs from new albums before they release them these days unless its like live shit or a music vid or something and they are pretty conceptual about their work, it would seem pretty out of place of them to put a track they intended to be a soundtrack theme song on a new album. this will probably just remain a random single, i dont see it being a part of anything.

it could be another "exit music" type deal but yeah probably not gonna be on the new one

Yeah would definitely not sound out of place on HTTT. Sounds somewhat similar to Sail to the Moon with string arrangements.

Well I guess they were asked to write it for the new James Bond movie but it ended up not working out for some reason. Glad they released it anyway.

yeah I agree. I don't expect it to make the album because it was intended for the James Bond movie but it's great as a stand alone track anyway. nice to hear those good good musical juices flowing
