He’s going to be very upset being in a system with Tank Dell and Nico Collins who are both borderline #1s so he is going to see a sizable drop off in targets and may react poorly to that.



In Buffalo he WAS the receiving threat, now he’s on a stacked team with a great TE too in Schultz. Texans are going to be insane this year and it won’t be because of Diggs imo. As a Jags fan it’s tough to see but the Texans are my least hated division rival and CJ Stroud is very fun to watch. He completely blew away my expectations of him. Plus seeing him in the media more has made me really like him he seems super chill

it could be a total TNF shit show of joe flacco starting for the colts, and zach wilson starting for the broncos and i'd be so locked in lol

it's better than the goff deal because lawrence is clearly a much better qb if you watch the games.

lawrence is clearly a bit more physical gifted and prob hasn't hit his ceiling yet... but still feels just as mistake prone as goff is.

its hard to discount the fact that goff has captained elite offenses on multiple teams now tho... no matter how bad he is on his worst days

lawrence contract is better merely because it is a longer contract for less guaranteed per year for the much younger player

granted... i think goff got THAT kind of contract because detroit are contenders trying to maximize their window that just barely missed the SB (along with his good play obv). I don't think many other teams would've given him THAT much where as literally every team would be happy giving lawrence that money.

made career years out of what people thought were bums in christian kirk (horrendously mocked), evan engram (also horrendously mocked) and zay jones (actually a mid wr). horrendous o-line play last year and was 8-3 with the 1 seed before he and kirk got injured. 2023-that game he was statistically a top 3 qb. also dead last last year in rushing epa.

every advanced analytic you look at favors him. the eye test and traits favor him as well. he makes throws about 5 others can make. just gotta actually watch jaguars games which many won't. gabe davis and btj are going to open up the offense completely, he hasn't really had a true deep threat and now he has two with engram and kirk to feast over the middle. revist this in a year.
