Is this not a generally accepted fact?

Then again there are 30 top 10 National songs if ya know what I mean.

Break my arms around the one I love

i rarely see the love honestly. usually people just focus on raving about geese and mr. november (which are undoubtedly awesome songs too)

Yeah, SoHo, Geese, and November are the holy trinity of this album for sure.

i wish Matt would start writing weird shit again. i liked the more personal tone on Trouble Will Find Me, but on Sleep Well Beast they degraded a bit in quality imo, even though i still think theyre decent and have moments of brilliance.

and the lyrics on the I Am Easy to Find singles are fine but not very interesting.

Checking these guys out for the first time and fuck, even after only one play through this album is blowing me away. Immediately loving it, which is pretty rare (though it did just happen MO’s Black Mile as well).

Just wanted to get a taste of what they sound like before I dive in and tackle their discog chronologically. Gonna restrain myself from listening again at the moment and start with Sad Songs. I hear the debut is pretty mediocre so I’ll probably just listen to that once I’m done with everything else.

Nice one man, a bit surprised so hear you loved it that much in just one listen but I won’t complain! It took me over half a decade to realize this album’s brilliance completely.
